OUR STORY
A LITTLE MUSIC. A LITTLE FOCACCIA.
We first met at a rub-a-dub on Oʻahu, then crossed paths again at our local watering hole, The Dolphin Spit—neither of us realizing we both lived in Kona. Tanner claims Alexia couldn’t stop giggling. Alexia can neither confirm nor deny.
Music, food, travel, and dancing brought us together. But if you ask Tanner, the deciding moment was when Alexia dropped off homemade focaccia. That’s when he knew she was the one. Sometimes love is that simple—and comes with olive oil.
OUR KIND OF EVERYDAY
Since then, our favorite adventures have involved meeting new people, trying street food on an unfamiliar corner, and finding somewhere to dance. Our music tastes cover a lot of ground, and so do the places we hope to explore together.
At home in Kona, we love gardening, cooking with the fruits of our labor, watching soccer, and spending time with our dog, Kohu—who, unfortunately, did not make the destination wedding guest list. We’ve also turned our love of food into a Mediterranean pop-up, sharing our favorite flavors with our community.
THE NEXT ADVENTURE
When Alexia first brought Tanner to Türkiye, he understood why it feels like home to her. The hospitality, the meals, and the time spent together made it a place we wanted to share with the people we love.
So when we imagined our wedding, we pictured incredible food, thoughtful service, and a party that keeps everyone on the dance floor. More than anything, we wanted time together: to explore, make new friends, linger over dinner, and create memories beyond a single day.
